Kids are back in school and it’s time for routine! What does your routine look like? Here are some tips to get you started.
- Create a dedicated spot for school necessities. (backpacks, lunchbox, forms, supplies, etc) Let your child be in charge of emptying the backpack and hanging up.
- Create a morning and evening checklist; make it visual! Use stickers, magnets, different colored markers, whatever works for you! (Morning example: brush teeth, get dressed, make bed, eat breakfast. Evening example: snack, homework, dinner, prepare lunches, shower, bedtime)
- Plan meals for the week and create a grocery list to stick to. This helps when kids have after school activities.
