Certification Revenue

PAID CERTIFICATION

As of September 1, 2025, Agents certification activities from Day 1 of ALL CLASSES attended in the U.S. will be PAID time! As a result, you can generate more revenue for your business than before and here is how:

  • Attend class & complete self-study modules (where required)
  • Service minimum intervals required to generate servicing incentives*
  • Meet eligibility criteria to earn additional incentives when a Production Statement of Work (SOW) is offered and accepted*

* See applicable Program Announcements for all incentive details.

To take advantage of paid certification, we expect the demand for classes will increase. To ensure that businesses are bringing the required skills and commitment to successfully service a program, businesses should expect scrutiny of our Agents’ expressions of interest to also increase.

Our goal is to continue to provide our Agents with a sustainable opportunity to build greater expertise and confidence on the programs for which they certified by regularly selecting and servicing intervals, thereby increasing their overall satisfaction with the Platform. To accomplish that, we may utilize complementary scheduling caps at the platform level – inclusive of time scheduled in certification classes.

PAID CERTIFICATION FAQs

HOW MUCH WILL THE CERTIFICATION SERVICE REVENUE BE?

  • Certification Service Revenue will be paid at a rate of $7.64 per hour ($3.82 per interval) for the duration of the Certification Statement of Work (SOW). This applies to all U.S. based classes and includes attendance during the instructor-led portions of class, completion of self-study modules outside of class (see below for details), and call-taking.
  • The Certification SOW will now run from Day 1 of class (i.e. first day of Phase I) to the end of the Certification SOW period. Dependent upon the client program, the term of a typical Certification SOW will now be between 8 and 10 weeks.

HOW IS THIS NEW STRUCTURE BETTER FOR MY BUSINESS?

  • By earning Certification Service Revenue from Day 1 of class, the overall earnings potential on the Certification Statement of Work increases.
  • Provided below is a comparison representing the revenue earning opportunity across the term of the new Certification Statement of Work.

WITH PAID CERTIFICATION STARTING ON DAY ONE OF CLASS, WHEN WILL CERTIFICATION STATEMENTS OF WORK (SOWs) BE OFFERED/MADE AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE?

  • Certification SOWs will be offered approximately 7 days before the class start date and MUST be signed by 11:59 p.m. ET the day before the class starts.
  • If the Certification SOW is not signed by this deadline, the enrolled agent will be dropped from the class.
  • In the event you do not sign the Certification SOW by the deadline, you will receive a refund of the Class Confirmation Deposit.
  • Example: If class starts on Monday, October 6th, the Certification SOW will be available for signature on Monday, September 29th and must be signed by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 5th.

HOW WILL THE TIME SPENT IN CLASS BE CAPTURED FOR PAYMENT?

  • Time in attendance of class will be automatically captured via the Zoom interface.
  • Agents must log into class using the email format provided in their welcome letter. Failure to do so may negatively impact service revenue – as your business will not receive revenue for your time spent in class.

HOW MANY HOURS WILL I GENERATE CLASS TIME SERVICE REVENUE FOR?

  • Revenue will be paid in accordance with the time the agent is logged into the Zoom environment and engaged in the class but will not exceed the scheduled duration of that class.
  • For example, class is scheduled for 4 hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You log into the class at 8:45 a.m. and remain logged in until 1:00 p.m. Certification Service Revenue will be paid for the 4 hours of class.
  • If, however, you log in from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Certification Service Revenue will only be paid for 3 hours.
  • Arise reserves the right to terminate any Certification Statement of Work for unprofessional behavior if misuse or abuse is identified.

I DIDN’T LOG INTO ZOOM USING THE CORRECT FORMAT. NOW WHAT?

  • As an exception, Arise will attempt to locate the attendance record but cannot guarantee being able to do so. If they can verify attendance, they will issue a courtesy adjustment for the time spent in class.

WHAT ABOUT TIME SPENT COMPLETING SELF-STUDY MODULES?

  • Certification Service Revenue for the completion of self-study modules (outside of Instructorled class time) will be paid at the same rate outlined above. Program Announcements will include a listing of all eligible self-study modules, along with the estimated completion time for each module.
  • When completed, this Certification Service Revenue (equal to the estimated completion time listed in the Program Announcement) will be paid regardless of how much or how little time is actually spent on the module or how many times each module is completed.
  • Certification Service Revenue will only be paid for completed self-study modules (not attempted), and only once per completed module.
  • Arise reserves the right to terminate any Certification Statement of Work for unprofessional behavior if misuse or abuse is identified.

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO DIFFERENTLY TO ENSURE THAT SELF-STUDY COMPLETION IS CAPTURED FOR PAYMENT?

  • Specifically for self-study modules that are accessed within the client’s Learning Management Systems (LMS), you may receive the following messaging when logging into their tool. Agents should complete the necessary authentication to ensure that all necessary data is collected. Beyond that, no further action is needed.

WHEN WILL CERTIFICATION SERVICE REVENUE BE PAID?

  • All Certification Service Revenue associated with class attendance and/or completion of selfstudy modules will be processed during the certification revenue cycle earned. Invoice dates are the 1st and the 15th of the month unless you enroll in Express Invoicing. Example: You were in class from 9/16-9/30, you will receive your invoice on 10/13 with your deposit being on 10/15. If you sign up for Express you would receive your invoice on 10/7 with your deposit on 10/9. You can view all of the invoice dates HERE.

IS CERTIFICATION SERVICE REVENUE SUBJECT TO THE 5% PLATFORM USAGE FEE?

  • Yes – all revenues generated, apart from Incentives and Referrals, are subject to the 5% Platform Usage Fee.

IS CERTIFICATION SERVICE REVENUE SUBJECT TO THE $40 GIRLICITY SUPPORT FEE?

  • Yes – all revenues generated are subject to the$40 Girlicity Support Fee per invoice period.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DROP CERTIFICATION?

  • It will count as a SOW Termination. A termination fee will be charged based on the remaining Girlicity Support Fees left to be paid on the contract. If the agent does not earn enough to cover the termination fee, the remaining balance will be requested to be paid within 90 days before being sent to collections.
  • You will be required to wait 60 days before enrolling in another class

DOES THIS ONLY APPLY TO CERTIFICATION CLASSES FOR NEW PROGRAMS, OR WILL CERTIFICATION SERVICE REVENUE ALSO BE PAID FOR CONTINUING OR CROSS-CERTIFICATIONS, WHEN MY BUSINESS IS ALREADY CONTRACTED ON A PROGRAM?

  • Service Revenue will be provided for time spent in continuing or cross-certifications at the applicable service revenue rate. For example, if you are attending a Continuing Certification class while servicing on a Certification SOW, the Certification Service Revenue rate applies. However, if the Continuing Certification class takes place while servicing on a Production SOW, the Production Service Revenue rate (for that program) applies.

HOW WILL AGENTS SEE THIS NEW SERVICE REVENUE CAPTURED ON THE INVOICE?

  • Agents can identify Certification Service Revenue on their invoice as follows:
  • Instructor-Led Cross-CERT: Per Interval
  • Instructor-Led Ongoing CERT: Per Interval
  • Instructor-Led New Learner CERT: Per Interval \
  • Self-Paced Ongoing CERT: Per Interval
  • Self-Paced Cross-CERT: Per Interval
  • Self-Paced New Learner CERT: Per Interval

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM CAP?

  • When interval selection is disproportionately skewed to a small population, the imbalance can create dissatisfaction among Agents and can impact the expertise that Agents build on client programs. Additionally, when interval selection is concentrated within a small population, poor Commitment Adherence (CA) and no-shows can materially impact the ability to meet client needs and client satisfaction, impacting our ability to grow that program.

HOW WILL A PLATFORM CAP WORK?

  • Unless waived for business reasons, regardless of the count of Statements of Work for which an Agent is authorized to service, Agents will be unable to schedule more than an established number of intervals on the Arise® Platform – inclusive of time in certification classes. Please note, program Preselect max caps will remain in place and work in tandem with this platform level interval cap, enforcing whichever limit is met first. Please review the following example: Scenario: Assumes platform cap is set at 37 hours / 74 intervals per week
  • Your class time will affect your current client if you are already servicing a client. We do not recommend taking a certification class while servicing another client. You will be limited to around 7 hours with your client a week which will put you below the threshold of your SOW requested intervals of 60 per invoice period.

Please note: Program and Platform caps are designed to work in tandem and may be adopted to maximize both capacity and/or interval distribution based on the needs of the platform and or individual program.
