Computer Eye Strain: Tips for Relief

Working from home using a computer screen is more common today than ever!  We are also using our mobile devices constantly.  Our eyes need a break!  You may notice symptoms such as dry eyes, headaches, blurred vision, red eyes, neck and shoulder pain.  Here are some tips to help reduce your eye strain.

  • Get a routine eye exam
  • Use proper lighting
  • Upgrade your computer display
  • Adjust the computer display settings
  • Take breaks
  • Exercise your eyes — 20/20/20 — every 20 minutes gaze at an object 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds
